For Professional Wrestling fans, he’s been known as “Steel”, “Oz”, “Vinnie Vegas”, “Diesel”, and even “Big Sexy”, but no matter what the name, Kevin Nash is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the ring. In 1994 he won all three titles comprising the WWF Triple Crown and at that year’s Slammy Awards won the MVP (now Superstar of the Year) and (with Shawn Michaels) Best Tag Team awards. Between WWE, WCW and TNA, Nash has won a total of 21 championships, including being a six-time world champion (five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and one-time WWF Champion) and a 12-time world tag team champion between the three promotions. Although he held the WWF Championship only once, his 358-day reign is the longest of the 1990s. During his time in WCW, Kevin became the first wrestler to defeat Goldberg and in the process ended his undefeated streak of 173–0 at Starrcade in 1998. He is also one of the three founding members of the New World Order (nWo), along with Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall. Nash was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.

Kevin’s movie career actually precedes his Wrestling work, as he played the Super Shredder in TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES II: THE SECRET OF THE OOZE. After several years in the ring, Nash returned to big screens in movies like 2004’s THE PUNISHER (playing “The Russian”), THE LONGEST YARD, ROCK OF AGES, JOHN WICK and more. He’s become a fan-favorite to women all over the world playing “Tarzan” in MAGIC MIKE and again in MAGIC MIKE XXL. And for those wondering if there’s any comic book connection here… there is! In 1999, Kevin created and co-wrote a comic book titled NASH, set in a dystopian future and featuring himself as the primary character. Image Comics published an ashcan preview edition and two regular issues. We’re very excited to have Kevin Nash as a special guest with us for his first Dallas convention appearance!
