Legendary WEB OF SPIDER-MAN, ACTION COMICS and GREEN LANTERN artist Alex Saviuk hits DCS August 21-22!

We’re very excited to announce our first guest for DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Fantasy Festival this August 21-22, 2021. One of the true greats, ladies and gentlemen – the wonderful Alex Saviuk is joining us and we couldn’t be happier! Mr. Saviuk has turned in impressive art on major books like ACTION COMICS, ADVENTURES OF SPIDER-MAN, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, DC COMICS PRESENTS, THE FLASH, GREEN LANTERN, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERBOY, SPIDER-MAN ADVENTURES, Stan Lee’s THE MIGHTY 7, SUPERMAN, THE SUPERMAN FAMILY, WORLD’S FINEST COMICS, and THE X-FILES. Alex is considered by many to be a quintessential Spider-Man artist, especially after his impressive run on WEB OF SPIDER-MAN starting in February 1988 and running all the way to January 1995 (seven years!). He was also a regular artist on the Spider-Man newspaper comic strips, written by Stan Lee. We’re so pleased to have this legendary creator with us, so let’s make him feel at home with a warm welcome.

Dallas Comic Show

Founded in 2016, the Dallas Comic Show is a way for fans of comics, movies, television and other pop culture cravings to connect and reconnect with creators, actors and other fans!

#DallasComicShow is a family-friendly event in the DFW area featuring exciting comic book and media guests, costumed characters, gaming and Anime content.

Our mission is to bring back an affordable pop culture convention experience to the DFW area, something everyone can enjoy and embrace without breaking the bank. This is show run by fans and done for fans. We are here to make sure you have fun.

Our inaugural shows were held at the Richardson Convention Center - in the Spring of 2016 (April 23-24) and in late Summer 2016 (August 6-7). Our third event was at the Irving Convention Center on February 11-12, 2017, and our fourth back at the Richardson Civic Center on September 16-17, 2017.

In 2018 we had two fun events happening, August 25-26, and November 17-18.

In 2019, we had three shows - the first April 6-7 in Richardson, then August 10-11 in Lewisville, TX, and finally November 23-24 in Richardson.

In 2020, due to Coronavirus concerns, we decided to go on hiatus and not attempt public gatherings, which was probably for the best.

In 2021, the Dallas Comic Show returned with THREE events - the first being a single-day show on June 26, the second a two-day show August 21-22, and the third being November 6-7, and all three events will be held at the Music City Mall in Lewisville, TX. And a surprise addition, we hosted a special "Day of Cheer" on December 18, 2021 - a FREE admission event with several vendors and special guests... just in time for Christmas shopping!

In 2022, we started with February 19-20, followed by April 23-24, and then August 12-14, November 11-12, and finally December 17-18... our "Weekend of Cheer"

In 2023, we did a show April 29-30, August 26-27, November 18-19, 2023 and December 16-17, 2023

Our first show of 2024 will be our Spring Spectacular - April 20-21, 2024 - we hope to see you there!
