Dark Horse’s original ALIENS artist, master illustrator Mark A. Nelson hits DCS August 21-22!
His work has been featured in ABE SAPIEN, ALIEN ENCOUNTERS, THE BADGER, BLOOD AND SHADOWS, Clive Barker’s HELLRAISER, Clive Barker’s NIGHT BREED, DEATH RATTLE, FEAR AGENT, GODZILLA KING OF THE MONSTERS SPECIAL, THE GREEN HORNET, HEAVY METAL, MONSTER MASSACRE, NEXUS, SLASH, SQUARRIORS, and WILD CARDS; with his writing contributions in Clive Barker’s HELLRAISER, DARK HORSE PRESENTS, DEATH RATTLE, HEAVY METAL, MONSTER MASSACRE, and TROLLORDS… to name a few. He’s done covers for books like AQUAMAN, BEOWULF, GODZILLA, GREEN LANTERN, PINHEAD, THE SPIRIT: NEW ADVENTURES, and STAR WARS: DARK TIMES – OUT OF THE WILDERNESS. Mark has also provided illustrations for MAGIC THE GATHERING, WHITE WOLF, TSR / WIZARDS OF THE COAST, FASA, FIVE RINGS, ARMAGEDDON, DRAGON magazine, DUNGEON and more, along with several covers to books written by Joe Lansdale. Most recently, Mark provided an awesome variant cover for the popular comic book KAIJU SCORE #1. We’re very happy to have Mark return to DALLAS COMIC SHOW, he was at our first event in April of 2016, so let’s welcome him back with open arms this August 21-22!
