Show us the way you COSPLAY in our Costume Contest, Saturday at 5pm!
What better way to spend your Saturday than showing up in your best costume at Dallas Comic Show! We love cosplayers, and we want to see your best costumes this weekend. Show us what you can do, and enter our costume contest (presented by Who Needs Sleep?) which will be held Saturday at 5:00pm. We’ll have awesome prizes supplied from Bigfanboy.com and cool swag for the winners, and a little cash thrown in to make things exciting, this is a great opportunity to show off your best duds in a safe and welcoming environment. Dallas Comic Show is a strong supporter of safety within the cosplay community, and we’ll have security on site should there be any problems. Always remember, Cosplay is NOT consent, and if you see any inappropriate behavior don’t hesitate to alert us.
Please note, there will be a weapons check desk when you arrive. All prop weapons must be approved and tagged before being brought into the event.
The Costume Contest will be held Saturday at 5:00pm and is expected to run about an hour. We’ll be awarding child’s costumes during the contest too (at the beginning), so bring the kids in their coolest outfit and they might just win something fun. This paticular contest is typically intended for advanced cosplayers, but all entries are welcome. Dallas Comic Show is a family-friendly event, so we expect all costumes to be respectful and appropriate for a family atmosphere. If you have concerns about whether or not your costume is acceptable, please contact us in advance.
