VALLEY GIRL, WAXWORK and APRIL FOOL’S DAY star and 80s icon Deborah Foreman comes to DCS June 26th – rare appearance!

“Like, they’re staring right at us.” We are incredibly excited to welcome 1980s icon and star of VALLEY GIRL, Deborah Foreman, for a rare guest appearance at DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Saturday Special this June 26th! After starting her career as a model for Maybelline Cosmetics, and making her television acting debut on shows like T.J. HOOKER and FAMILY TIES, Deborah became a star for her leading role in the popular film VALLEY GIRL in 1983 where she starred opposite a young Nicolas Cage. She followed this with roles in films like REAL GENIUS, MY CHAUFFEUR, the horror classic APRIL FOOL’S DAY, 3:15 (starring with former DCS guest Adam Baldwin), WAXWORK, DESTROYER, THE EXPERTS, LOBSTER MAN FROM MARS, the cult-favorite horror film SUNDOWN: THE VAMPIRE IN RETREAT, and the Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell-produced LUNATICS: A LOVE STORY. Last year, the movie GRIZZLY II: REVENGE was finally shown on the film festival circuit after being unfinished and unreleased since 1983. This is our first event at Music City Mall in Lewisville, and how cool is to have the lead actress from VALLEY GIRL kick off our media guest list for this show?! Dallas Comic Show

Founded in 2016, the Dallas Comic Show is a way for fans of comics, movies, television and other pop culture cravings to connect and reconnect with creators, actors and other fans!

#DallasComicShow is a family-friendly event in the DFW area featuring exciting comic book and media guests, costumed characters, gaming and Anime content.

Our mission is to bring back an affordable pop culture convention experience to the DFW area, something everyone can enjoy and embrace without breaking the bank. This is show run by fans and done for fans. We are here to make sure you have fun.

Our inaugural shows were held at the Richardson Convention Center - in the Spring of 2016 (April 23-24) and in late Summer 2016 (August 6-7). Our third event was at the Irving Convention Center on February 11-12, 2017, and our fourth back at the Richardson Civic Center on September 16-17, 2017.

In 2018 we had two fun events happening, August 25-26, and November 17-18.

In 2019, we had three shows - the first April 6-7 in Richardson, then August 10-11 in Lewisville, TX, and finally November 23-24 in Richardson.

In 2020, due to Coronavirus concerns, we decided to go on hiatus and not attempt public gatherings, which was probably for the best.

In 2021, the Dallas Comic Show returned with THREE events - the first being a single-day show on June 26, the second a two-day show August 21-22, and the third being November 6-7, and all three events will be held at the Music City Mall in Lewisville, TX. And a surprise addition, we hosted a special "Day of Cheer" on December 18, 2021 - a FREE admission event with several vendors and special guests... just in time for Christmas shopping!

In 2022, we started with February 19-20, followed by April 23-24, and then August 12-14, November 11-12, and finally December 17-18... our "Weekend of Cheer"

In 2023, we did a show April 29-30, August 26-27, November 18-19, 2023 and December 16-17, 2023

Our first show of 2024 will be our Spring Spectacular - April 20-21, 2024 - we hope to see you there!
