Meet Marvel artist Julian Shaw at DALLAS COMIC SHOW!

This past December he made his very first convention appearance ever with us, and we are thrilled to welcome back Julian Shaw to DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Spring Spectacular this April 20-21, 2024! Originally from San Antonio, Julian has been working professionally in comics for the past three years, and has been illustrating comic books for Marvel Comics for the past two years. His work can be found in MARVEL VOICES: SPIDER-VERSE Vol. 1, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL #1, STRANGE ACADEMY: MOON KNIGHT #1, WAKANDA #4, EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE #3, CAPTAIN AMERICA SYMBOL OF TRUTH, and several of the Marvel “Infinity” online comics as well (pictured below). His latest work just appeared in the new MARVEL VOICES LEGENDS #1, now on shelves. Julian is a name to watch, and we’re extremely happy to bring him back once again as a special guest! Be sure to stop by his table and say hi to this very talented man.

Dallas Comic Show

Founded in 2016, the Dallas Comic Show is a way for fans of comics, movies, television and other pop culture cravings to connect and reconnect with creators, actors and other fans!

#DallasComicShow is a family-friendly event in the DFW area featuring exciting comic book and media guests, costumed characters, gaming and Anime content.

Our mission is to bring back an affordable pop culture convention experience to the DFW area, something everyone can enjoy and embrace without breaking the bank. This is show run by fans and done for fans. We are here to make sure you have fun.

Our inaugural shows were held at the Richardson Convention Center - in the Spring of 2016 (April 23-24) and in late Summer 2016 (August 6-7). Our third event was at the Irving Convention Center on February 11-12, 2017, and our fourth back at the Richardson Civic Center on September 16-17, 2017.

In 2018 we had two fun events happening, August 25-26, and November 17-18.

In 2019, we had three shows - the first April 6-7 in Richardson, then August 10-11 in Lewisville, TX, and finally November 23-24 in Richardson.

In 2020, due to Coronavirus concerns, we decided to go on hiatus and not attempt public gatherings, which was probably for the best.

In 2021, the Dallas Comic Show returned with THREE events - the first being a single-day show on June 26, the second a two-day show August 21-22, and the third being November 6-7, and all three events will be held at the Music City Mall in Lewisville, TX. And a surprise addition, we hosted a special "Day of Cheer" on December 18, 2021 - a FREE admission event with several vendors and special guests... just in time for Christmas shopping!

In 2022, we started with February 19-20, followed by April 23-24, and then August 12-14, November 11-12, and finally December 17-18... our "Weekend of Cheer"

In 2023, we did a show April 29-30, August 26-27, November 18-19, 2023 and December 16-17, 2023

Our first show of 2024 will be our Spring Spectacular - April 20-21, 2024 - we hope to see you there!
