He is Groot. He is Kong. He’s The Incredible Hulk. Terry Notary comes to DCS Aug 25-26!

We are so very excited to welcome the marvelously talented Terry Notary to his first Texas convention! A true master of motion capture performance, a highly-skilled choreographer, and amazing stunt coordinator, Terry has played some of the biggest and coolest character in cinema of the last two decades. Check out his full credit list below, but trust us when we say this is a rare opportunity to meet one of the most important cinematic performers working today.

As a choreographer and movement coach, he’s worked on films like HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS (2000), Tim Burton’s PLANET OF THE APES (2001), X-MEN 2 (2003), SUPERMAN RETURNS (2006), FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER (2007), THE INCREDIBLE HULK (2008), TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN (2009), AVATAR (2009), ATTACK THE BLOCK (2011), ADVENTURES OF TINTIN (2011), RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (2011) and the two sequels, all three HOBBIT movies, THE BFG (2016), WARCRAFT (2016), SUICIDE SQUAD (2016) and RAMPAGE (2018). He just served as Second Unit Director and movement choreographer on MOWGLI, and in now working on Disney’s THE LION KING update.

As an actor, Terry starred in THE INCREDIBLE HULK (as both The Hulk and The Abomination), James Cameron’s AVATAR (as Banshee), RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and the two sequels (as Rocket and Bright Eyes), THE CABIN IN THE WOODS (as The Clown), THE HOBBIT movies (as Yazneg and The Orc General), WARCRAFT: THE BEGINNING (as Grom Hellscream), KONG: SKULL ISLAND (as Kong!), THE SQUARE (as Oleg), and most recently as Groot AND Cull Obsidian in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and the upcoming sequel. Whew! That’s pretty impressive, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down. Please help us welcome Terry Notary to DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Fantasy Festival on August 25-26, 2008. Also stay tuned for info on a special “Ape Walking” workshop event Terry will be doing one night after the show.
