Author of BIG LIZARD, RED RANGE, CRAWLING SKY, THE PALE DOOR, GIMME FIVE COMICS, THE X-FILES CASE FILES, CREEPSHOW, VAMPIRELLA FEARY TALES and more – Keith Lansdale joins DALLAS COMIC SHOW November 21-22, 2026!

.

We are incredibly honored to have two generations of Texas authors joining us for DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Holiday Special this November 21-22, 2026 at NTX Arena. Joe R. Lansdale is one, but his son Keith is also in on the party, and we couldn’t be happier.

Keith is known for his work on books like BIG LIZARD, IN WADERS FROM MARS (yes, you read that right), PRISONER OF VIOLENCE, ELIJAH’S ELIXIR, CHRISTMAS WITH THE DEAD, CRAWLING SKY, BIRDS STRANGERS AND PSYCHOS, BLOOD AND BULLETS, RED RANGE, SON OF RETRO PULP TALES, CREEPY COMICS, THE X-FILES: CASE FILES, VAMPIRELLA FEARY TALES, GIMME FIVE COMICS and more. Keith also wrote THE PALE DOOR movie, and did writing for the 2019 CREEPSHOW series, and is still developing projects today. He frequently works with his father, and it’s safe to say the Lansdale writing legacy will live on thanks the contributions of both men.

We are very excited to welcome Keith to the show, joined by his father, Joe Lansdale, the first time for both of them to join one of our events. Be sure to stop by their booth and say hello!
