Creator of CABLE, DEADPOOL, MAJOR X, PROPHET, YOUNGBLOOD and X-FORCE – Image Comics co-founder Rob Liefeld joins DALLAS COMIC SHOW November 21-22, 2026! (Appearing SUNDAY ONLY)

.

After gaining popularity in the comic book industry with his early 1990s work at Marvel Comics on NEW MUTANTS and X-FORCE, Rob Liefeld was on of the influential co-founders of Images Comics in 1992, where he launched his highly successful title YOUNGBLOOD and his brand, Extreme Studios. Comic book fans quickly latched on to his various teams and characters he created, like Cable and Deadpool in NEW MUTANTS, which led directly into X-FORCE, and YOUNGBLOOD introduced us to Prophet and other memorable heroes. You may also remember AVENGELYNE, which may soon be headed to the big screen. Rob has appeared in TV commercials, television interviews, and even the DEADPOOL movie as himself. Rob isn’t just a comic book creator, he’s a legitimate comic historian, with vast knowledge of artists and writers, and the history of the medium. He’s spent years sharing his incredible knowledge in his “Robservations” online show, and can swap stories on just about any subject related to the industry. His work continues to inspire generations of comic book fans, and he’s still creating new and interesting characters, like the recent MAJOR X for Marvel Comics. Do not miss this rare opportunity to meet Rob in person as he joins us for our 10th Anniversary event – DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Holiday Special this November 21-22, 2026 at NTX Arena. PLEASE NOTE: Rob is appearing on SUNDAY ONLY, he will not be attending on Saturday.
