The following guests are scheduled to appear at Dallas Comic Show’s Holiday Special this November 23-24, 2019. The show will be held at the Richardson Civic Center in Richardson, TX. All guest appearances are subject to work commitments. Guests appear both days of the show unless otherwise noted.  Scroll down to bios for info on media guest prices – subject to change. In rare instances some guests may have to postpone their appearances due to work commitments, we always try to note if that’s occurred as soon as possible. Also, we do our best to give pricing below next to guest names, but in some cases we may not find out pricing until they arrive, and in rare cases those prices may change from what we were told – always check at their tables for pricing, though we do our best to give you accurate predictions. Please note, Media Guests charge to sign your items or their merchandise, and most charge a fee for photos with them. Most comic book guests do not charge for autographs, but it’s always wise to ask first.

Al Ewing – writer of Marvel’s hottest book, THE IMMORTAL HULK, and story architect for MARVEL COMICS #1000. Known for his writing on the AVENGERS: NO SURRENDER and AVENGERS: NO ROAD HOME stories, Al has also scripted popular books like NEW AVENGERS, LOKI: AGENT OF ASGARD, ULTIMATES, U.S. AVENGERS, ROCKET, ROYALS, and most recently JANE FOSTER: VALKYRIE. Signature fees – raw books are FREE (may be limited depending on line), CGC/CBCS witnessed signatures are $10 donation each.

Trevor Hairsine – artist of DCEASED with fellow DCS guest Stefano Guadiano, also known for ARCHER & ARMSTRONG, ARMOR HUNTERS, BLACK PANTHER, CAPTAIN AMERICA, DAMAGE, ETERNAL WARRIOR, HARBINGER, HEROES IN CRISIS, IRREDEEMABLE, KILLAPALOOZA, NINJAK, RAI, RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS, X-MEN ORIGINS: COLOSSUS, X-MEN: DEADLY GENESIS and X-O MANOWAR. Brian Stelfreeze – artist on BLACK PANTHER, RISE OF THE BLACK PANTHER, SPIDER-MAN: MILES MORALES, BATMAN: SHADOW OF THE BAT, DAY MEN, DOMINO, THE RIDE and more. Currently art director for 12 Gauge Comics.

Cullen Bunn – New York Times bestselling writer, mainstream credits include ASGARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, AQUAMAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA, CONAN, DEADPOOL, DRAX, FEARLESS DEFENDERS, LOBO, MAGNETO, MONSTERS UNLEASHED, THE SHADOW, SINESTRO, STAR WARS: DARTH MAUL, SUPERIOR CARNAGE, WOLVERINE, UNCANNY X-MEN, VAULT OF SPIDERS, VENOM, VENOMIZED, X-MEN BLUE and X-MEN PRIME. Cully Hamner – co-creator of RED (the book that inspired two hit movies) with writer Warren Ellis. Artist of THE SHADE, BLUE BEETLE, THE QUESTION, GREEN LANTERN: MOSAIC (which features covers by fellow DCS guest Brian Stelfreeze) and BLACK LIGHTNING… to name a few. Recent credits include BATMAN: THE SIGNAL, CONVERGENCE: THE QUESTION, WAR OF THE REALMS: SPIDER-MAN and YEAR OF THE VILLAIN: BLACK MASK, and covers for Marvel’s new YONDU series.

Darryl Banks – co-created Kyle Rayner, Parallax and Grayven in GREEN LANTERN for DC Comics – starting with issue #48, ending on issue #140. Contributed to books like CAPTAIN AMERICA ANNUAL 2001, DOC SAVAGE, G.I. JOE RELOADED, GUY GARDNER, JLA, JUSTICE MACHINE, LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES, SUPERBOY, SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL, TOMB RAIDER and TUROK EVOLUTION. Appears courtesy of Vanbreed Studios, where you can see his new work in the WWII comic book HARKEN’S RAIDERS.

Don Kramer – artist on BATMAN, BATMAN: BATTLE FOR THE COWL – THE NETWORK, DETECTIVE COMICS (working with writer Paul Dini), DOCTOR FATE, JSA, JSA VS. KOBRA, JSA: CLASSIFIED, NIGHTWING, THE OUTSIDERS, STARTLING STORIES: THE THING, and of course J. Michael Straczynski’s run on WONDER WOMAN. Also provided covers for X-O MANOWAR #4 (2012) and AQUAMAN #38 (2006), and single issues of HAWKMAN #14 (2003) and THE POWER OF SHAZAM! #48 (2010).

Steven Butler – known for his art on ARCHIE (various titles), BADGER, BETTY & VERONICA, LADY DEATH, NIGHTWATCH, SILVER SABLE AND THE WILD PACK, SILVER STORM, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, ULTRAFORCE, WEB OF SCARLET SPIDER, WEB OF SPIDER-MAN, X-MEN and so much more… and he hasn’t been to Dallas since 1991!

Sean McKeever – Eisner award-winning writer of SPIDER-MAN LOVES MARY JANE, THE INHUMANS, X-MEN ORIGINS and THE WAITING PLACE, as well as TEEN TITANS, THE INCREDIBLE HULK, BIRDS OF PREY, FEAR ITSELF: YOUTH IN REVOLT, FIRESTAR, MARVEL ADVENTURES SPIDER-MAN, MARVEL AGE FANTASTIC FOUR, MYSTIQUE, SPIDER-MAN FAMILY, WEB OF SPIDER-MAN, and YOUNG ALLIES. Created GRAVITY for Marvel. Senior Writer for BioWare’s acclaimed STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC video game. He currently writes top-secret games and his YA sci-fi series OUTPOST ZERO for Image Comics/Skybound.

Bob Wayne – attending Saturday of the event and moderating a special DC creator panel while there. Joined the DC Comics sales force in 1987, and eventually became Senior VP of Sales for the company. Also did some comic book writing for books like SCARY TALES (from Charlton Comics) and SECRET ORIGINS (at DC), as well as contributions to The Comics Journal, Lone Star Book Review and MAD Magazine. He’s the co-author (with Lewis Shiner) of DC’s fan-favorite 1990 mini-series TIME MASTERS, one of the precursors to the LEGENDS OF TOMORROW television series.

Ben Dunn – “The Godfather of American Manga” introduced the world to NINJA HIGH SCHOOL in 1987, also launching his comic book imprint Antarctic Press. In the years that followed, Ben created such titles as THE AGENTS, MANGAZINE, HEAVEN SENT and the very popular WARRIOR NUN AREALA, which is soon to be seen as a series on Netflix. In addition to that, Dunn created the MARVEL MANGAVERSE which re-imagined the iconic Marvel superheroes in a Manga style. Started making new comics with some very classic characters, including a revival of JUNGLE COMICS, EXCITING COMICS, and very soon PLANET COMICS.

Chad Thomas – artist of RISE OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: AMAZING ADVENTURES, SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH, STAR WARS ADVENTURES and MEGA MAN.

Allen Cordrey – founder of Vanbreed Studios and writer of HARKEN’S RAIDERS with artist Darryl Banks.

Lawrence Reynolds – masterful painter who has done an official IRON MAN lithograph for Marvel, multiple projects for Lucasfilm and Topps, and covers for DC Comics on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and SENSATION COMICS.

Carl Braun – creator, writer, artist and letterer of SEALS, a comic book he self-publishes under the company name of Studio Aries. His previous work includes BAD MISTER X, LAWBREAKERS and DREAMCATCHER.

Dean DeBlois – writer and director of the HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON trilogy. Also co-writer and co-director of LILO & STITCH, and other works include THE NUTCRACKER PRINCE (as assistant animator and layout artist), THUMBELINA (as layout artist), A TROLL IN CENTRAL PARK (as layout artist), MULAN (as the story co-head) and ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE (as story artist). Currently working on live action MICRONAUTS and TREASURE ISLAND movies. Lexi Rabe – “I love you 3000.” That single line of dialogue is one of the most memorable film quotes of 2019, and encapsulates the epic AVENGERS: ENDGAME and its incredible success. Sharing the screen with all those beloved Marvel superheroes was the lovable Lexi Rabe, who plays “Morgan Stark”, the daughter of Tony Stark. You may have also seen her in GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS, and she’ll soon be seen in SILK ROAD alongside Jason Clarke and Alexandra Shipp.  (Autograph $20, photo op $20, combo for $30)

Steve Cardenas – American martial artist, musician and actor best known for playing the character Rocky DeSantos, which was the second Red Power Ranger in MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS, and eventually became the Blue Zeo Ranger in POWER RANGERS ZEO two seasons later. Also starred in MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS: THE MOVIETURBO: A POWER RANGERS MOVIE, and POWER RANGERS TURBO, and in 2018 returned to the Power Rangers Franchise in POWER RANGERS SUPER NINJA STEEL for the 25th Anniversary episode, reprising his role as Rocky DeSantos.  (Autograph $TBA, photo op $TBA)

MCubed Cosplay – DFW based but Houston born and raised cosplayer and model most widely known for her movie-accurate Slave Leia and Rey. Marla has served as a Cosplay Against Bullying guest at Indy Pop Con and as a 501st Diamond Garrison Cosplay Guest at Comi-Conway.

Claire DEADfield Cosplay – professional cosplayer and enthusiastic pop culture fan who frequently appears in Marvel Comics-themed, DC Comics-themed, horror-themed and Harry Potter-themed ensembles… with a bit of Disney thrown in from time to time. B Charlotte D Cosplay – an actress, model and professional cosplayer with a passion for video games, anime, movies and all things nerdy.
