Honoring the Memory of actor James Hampton, Mary Deese Hampton joins DCS November 11-12, 2022!

James Hampton was a beloved presence at local events for years, becoming an immediate fan-favorite at conventions, and always happy to chat with attendees. James was known for his work on TV shows like THE DORIS DAY SHOW and F-TROOP, and movies like THE LONGEST YARD, HAWMPS!, HANGAR 18, THE CHINA SYNDROME, CONDORMAN, TEEN WOLF and TEEN WOLF TOO, and SLING BLADE. He also worked as a writer and director on shows like EVENING SHADE, and director for series like HEARTS AFIRE, BOSTON COMMON, GRACE UNDER FIRE, SISTER SISTER, SMART GUY, LINC’S, and ZOE DUNCAN JACK & JANE. James sadly passed away last year, and we wanted to pay tribute to him and his friendship with the local convention community. So his wife Mary Deese Hampton will be making a special appearance at DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Holiday Special this November 11-12, 2022 at Music City Mall in Lewisville. Mary will be bringing memorabilia James -collected through the years, and pre-signed photos of James and pre-signed copies of his autobiography to boot (see the pic below).
