DC Young Animal DOOM PATROL artist Nick Derington comes to DCS Feb 11-12

His past credits include CATWOMAN, HAWAIIAN DICK: THE LAST RESORT, MADMAN ATOMIC COMICS, MADMAN KING-SIZE SUPER GROOVY SPECIAL, THE PHANTOM and X-MEN UNLIMITED… but people are now drooling over his incredible artwork on the super-hot DC Young Animal title we all know and love. DOOM PATROL artist Nick Derington is making a special appearance with us at Dallas Comic Show this February 11-12! Formerly a Dallas resident, Derington now spends his days in Austin, and has worked closely over the years with major talents like Mike Allred and Darwyn Cooke. He was lead animator on Richard Linklater’s experimental film A SCANNER DARKLY, which starred Robert Downey Jr. and Keanu Reeves. Now he collaborates directly with Gerard Way on the popular revamp of the classic DC Comics team book, and those two are just getting warmed up. Nick doesn’t do many shows these days, so this is a rare opportunity to meet one of the coolest artists working today.
