POSTPONED – Meet MORTAL KOMBAT and THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE star Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa at DCS June 26th!
UPDATE (June 24th) – we were informed this evening by Cary’s representation that an unforeseen scheduling conflict has happened, and Cary is no longer able to attend our Saturday event on June 26, or the Sunday night screening. We absolutely did not know this was going to happen, and we proposed every possible solution we could think of to keep from canceling this appearance. As with any guest at these events, professional commitments come first. Cary is extremely sorry to all of his fans that he is unable to attend as planned, but promises to make up for it by coming to our November 6-7 event. We are very sorry to have to announce this, but we assure you there was nothing we could do. In an effort to soften the blow of this, we have added legendary actor and icon Chuck Norris to the guest list!
“Your soul is mine!” We are extremely honored and excited to welcome the legendary Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa for a rare appearance at DALLAS COMIC SHOW’s Saturday Special this June 26th at Music City Mall! After making his big screen debut in Bernardo Bertalucci’s THE LAST EMPEROR in 1987, Tagawa went on to star in LICENSE TO KILL, THE PERFECT WEAPON, SHOWDOWN IN LITTLE TOKYO, AMERICAN ME, RISING SUN, MORTAL KOMBAT, SOLDIER BOYZ, THE PHANTOM, John Carpenter’s VAMPIRES, THE ART OF WAR, Michael Bay’s PEARL HARBOR, Tim Burton’s PLANET OF THE APES, ELEKTRA, MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA, BALLS OF FURY, HACHI: A DOG’S TALE, TEKKEN, 47 RONIN, and so much more. More recently you may have heard his award-winning voice performance in KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS, and he’ll soon be seen in biopic REAGAN about former President Ronald Reagan. His television roles include popular shows like MACGUYVER, STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, MIAMI VICE, SUPERBOY, MOONLIGHTING, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, JAKE AND THE FATMAN, BAYWATCH, RAVEN, SPACE RANGERS, THUNDER IN PARADISE, BABYLON 5, NASH BRIDGES, SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH, STARGATE SG-1, SEVEN DAYS, HAWAII, HEROES, HAWAII FIVE-O, REVENGE, MORTAL KOMBAT: LEGACY, TEEN WOLF, THE LIBRARIANS, GRIMM, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, STAR WARS REBELS, LOST IN SPACE, and his amazing recurring role on the hit series THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE.
